I was quite excited about the prospect of a Winter Ball! I have to hand it to Growlithe, it’s an awesome idea, and I’m pretty psyched to see all the pairings dressed up and showing their moves on the dance floor (even you, nidoking, with your big swinging tail knocking shit over).

As much as I would’ve asked one of you beautiful young ladies to the dance, I had another idea. I would be honored if you allowed my band, the Beadrills, to play at your Winter Pokeball. We originated in Sinnoh, but recently have been taking Kanto by storm, and would be thrilled to perform in front of such a distinguished audience such as yourselves!

Growlithe, as you are the event’s esteemed organizer, I’ve attached our greatest hits CD (The Beadrills: Live from Krabby Road) for your consideration. OOC: this was hilarious to draw and come up with. Credit to Treecko for helping me come up with “Eleanor Magby” and “The Ballad of John and Slowbro”.

Also, I just noticed something interesting. there is, in fact, a GLARING ERROR somewhere in this picture. If any of you can spot it, reblog with what you think the error is - I will draw something nice (to the extent that I can) for the first person to get it right. And before you race off to pick my drawing apart, no, it’s not something like “Beedrill’s body doesn’t line up” or “Your pokemon look like they’re all playing oversized gourds with handles, holy shit have you ever even SEEN a guitar”. As much as it may seem otherwise, I am aware of the inadequacies in my own drawings, painfully so. And though I normally welcome any and all feedback, it’s not what I’m looking for in this instance. Hint: Think about the original Beatles. Happy Hunting =)
